Codes and Convetion of radio Trailers

-Short audio clips from the programme included.

-Occasionally a music bed with music that is relevant to the programme in some way.

-Voice over is the same voice over that was used in the documentary. The voice over has to narrate and briefly outlines what the programme is going to be about.



-Average length of a radio trailer clip is 40 seconds.

-Mentions what channel it will be broadcasted on.

Usually consiting background music, a relevent soundtrack connecting to the content
- Extracts from the Documentary, usually from an interview reveling the conten
-Am appropriate vioce over, explaining briefly the content of the documentary, title and genreal jist
-The vioce over is the same person as the vioce over in the documentary
-At the end, it tells you the time in which it is on and the channel
-The trailer should interest the audience into watching, for example an exitable vioce over, music and interesting extracts from the documentatry contributes
-A relevent and catchy slogan, conntenting the the documentary content and to tie the radio trailer together from the beginings, middle and end


This is an example of a RadioTrailer, this was also a TV add but was acceptible to be played on the radio.This is a good exmple to use for us as it is advertising a gig, so similar genre of advertising. This is slightly too long for a conventional radio add, but this was the genreal style
